This morning, the group took a flight from Colombo, Sri Lanka to New Delhi, India and successfully entered the country.

The group received their meal this morning at the courtyard of Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi.

The Sangha Leaves Sri Lanka – Continues Journey on the Land of the Buddha

This morning, the Minh Tue Sangha departed from Sri Lanka after days of being unable to continue their walking pilgrimage. They have arrived in New Delhi, India – the sacred land tied to the life and teachings of the Buddha. By this afternoon, they will continue moving toward holy sites to settle and practice.

Though the walking path was interrupted, the spiritual journey remains steadfast. This is not an ending, but a redirection – from a place of restriction to one that offers greater openness for cultivating wisdom, compassion, and peace.

Returning to India – the birthplace of Buddhism – carries profound symbolism. It marks not a retreat, but a return to spiritual roots, affirming that the path of inner awakening transcends all political and geographical boundaries.
